Benazir Taleemi Wazaif – Stipened Increased to Rs. 4,500/ for 1.8m Children

The government of Pakistan is willing to help low-income families in educating their children. This is the only option for progress and prosper Pakistan. For this, the government has introduced multiple programs in the name of Benazir Bhutto, the Ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan. Benazir Taleemi Wazaif is a program of that series.

Benazir Taleemi Wazaif is a direct cash transfer to the students of Primary, secondary and Higher Secondary students. The beneficieries are the students from all over Pakistan. It has broad objectives.

Background of Benazir Taleemi Wazaif

This program was started in 2012 in the five districts of the Sindh. Gradually, the scheme to support students expanded to 32 districts in 2015 and then to 50 districts in 2018. Now, in this government of PMLN, the circle has expanded to all the districts of Pakistan.

Objectives of Benazir Taleemi Wazaif – 2025

1. To create awareness among the families about the importance of education, mainly primary and secondary education.
2. To get maximum children in the school during their early school age.
3. To increase enrollment of maximum students and discourage child labour.
4. To increase the interest of the families
5. To reduce the dropout rates during early education.

What are the Eligibility Criteria for the BISP Program?

The students of;

1. 4-12 years of age – for primary school children
2. 8-18 years of age – for secondary school children
3. 13-22 years of age – for higher secondary school students

پرائمری: 4 سے 12 سال

سیکنڈری: 8 سے 18 سال

ہائیر سیکنڈری: 13 سے 22 سال

What is the Registration Process?

If you are a student of the school, you need to do the following to be the successful beneficiary of the student scholarship scheme;

1. Go to the nearest enrolment camp and visit the field officer of BISP
2. Show the CNIC of your father and your B-Form issued by NADRA
3. School admission slip – verified
4. Show your results with 60% marks
5. Show your attendance card with more than 70% attendance on the register

After getting registered, get a slip
